The GE Muse AssurePoint equipment contains a proprietary design, therefore another firm would not be familiar with the rationale of the design; not be able to accurately address Request for Information (RFI s); or accurately maintain this equipment, which is critical for proper patient care, as well as a sound product. NAICS code for this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. NAICS standard size is: $34 Million The Product/Service Code (PSC): J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. This non-competitive award is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), as it is the only contractor that meets the suitability criteria as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
