Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., 40 Liberty Blvd., Malvem, PA 19355, for Artis Q Windows Upgrade Software. Siemens does not have any authorized Small Business distributors. The Healthcare Technology Management Service at the Dayton VA Medical Center requires an upgrade to our Siemens Artis Q (EE 66055) from Windows 7 to Windows 10, as well as provide training on the upgraded OS. Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., is the sole manufacturer; only Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., can provide the VA with the proprietary software updates and upgrades for our equipment, no other software has been validated for these systems.
