The first installment of the Cerebro equipment for the Ann Arbor VAMC began in 2019, with additional purchases in 2023. This additional request will allow for the VA to expand capabilities for data capture in the Anatomic Pathology Depratment and replace additional antiquated methods that are currently in use. The new technology will also be used for communication between the different facets of Anatomic Pathology Sections. The associated NAICS code for this procurement is 334516. The vendor will be Government Scientific Source, Inc., 12355 Sunrise Valley Dr. Ste. 400 Reston, VA 20191. A firm fixed price Delivery Order with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded.
