This shall extent the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Johnson Control Fire Protection, LP product maintenance, services, and software updates that are required to correctly operate the SimplexGrinnell Fire Alarm and Detection Systems, which shall also include all Fire alarms, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguishers, Required Repairs, Testing, and Inspections at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. All work shall be completed by a NICET Level II (or higher) technician and/or inspector that has been certified and trained by the OEM, Johnson Controls Fire Protection, LP and shall conduct ALL fire alarm inspection, maintenance, services, and required software updates at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. The required testing shall be conducted in accordance with NFPA and the VA Fire Codes. In addition, all reporting shall comply with the Joint Commission Elements of Performance.
