Osmolality testing is required for evaluation of electrolyte and water balance, toxic alcohol ingestion, and other critical clinical conditions. A dedicated micro osmometer is necessary to support current and projected testing volumes, reduce turnaround time, and improve accuracy and reliability of results. The current Osmometer used in the laboratory is outdated has reached its end-of-life, requiring replacement. There is an urgent need to secure a new, modern osmometer that meets current performance standards, improves reliability, and that will support the increase in workload. Scope: This procurement is intended for the purchase and the acquisition of a new osmometer which is critical for the James H.
