Simplified acquisition procedures will be used, resulting in a firm fixed price Contract for a one-year period. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any responsible firm who believes they can meet the requirements should submit a capability statement, providing clear and convincing evidence supporting the assertion, and be appropriately licensed/certified. Information available to the CO indicates that the University of Miami Pathology/Research Administration is solely capable of providing for the requirement due to their close proximity to the Miami VA Medical Center that allows for timely processing and prevents morphological changes and loss of stability in testing samples.
