Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized; It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider authorized to perform the maintenance for the equipment listed below and is the only manufacturer that can meet the agency s needs. The contractor shall furnish labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and periodic preventive maintenance inspections for Intrasight 5, Volcano COREMobile System, and Volcano SyncVision. The equipment is located at the Miami VA Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, FL 33125. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available; telephone requests will not be accepted.
