## Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, hereby announces its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed contract to ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS CORPORATION for the procurement of the analyzer and test kits.

This contract is designated for the Path and Lab Department at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, situated at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612. The anticipated award is in compliance with FAR 13.106.1(b), which permits sole-source contracts when only one source can supply the required supplies or services at the necessary quality level due to their unique or highly specialized nature.
