The department of Veteran Affairs (VA), VISN 8 Network Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract for the Bay Pines VA Health Care System (BPVAHCS), 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744. This proposed contract action is for ASCO Standby Power System Install and Start Up at the BPVAHCS: Classification Code: J059 NAICS: 221118 Period of Performance: April 1, 2025 The Government intends to award a fixed-price contract to PowerLogics, Building Efficiency Division, 507 E Michigan St Ste M93, Milwaukee, WI. 53202. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3 (b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely withing the discretion of the government. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit supporting evidence to be reviewed. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. This evidence shall include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating vendor is an authorized distributor per clause 852.212-72(c).
