## Description

**DESCRIPTION:** The Prosthetic & Sensory Aids Department is requesting to have Life supporting equipment with Pressure Support with Safety Tidal Volume (PS/SVt) mode is a Volume Assured Pressure Support (VAPS) mode often used to treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and neuromuscular disease (NMD). The PS/SVt mode offers users a volume guarantee with every breath.

The Prosthetic & Sensory Aids Department is located at James A Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 DATA: The manufacturer, ResMed, signed an exclusive contract requiring all their products to be purchased through a single distributor. First Nation Group is a SDVOSB and only way to buy ResMed ventilators.
