The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b). Artera INC. is the sole service provider for Artera AI Prostate Test for Puerto Rico.

This test is only offered as a lab-developed test (LDT) from Artera s CLIA-licensed/CAP-certified laboratory in Jacksonville, Florida. This information has been confirmed with an exclusivity letter submitted by Artera INC. A service contract for a base year of 12 month and one (1) option periods of twelve (12) month is anticipated and shall be awarded.

Artera AI based test for risk of stratification that includes prognostic and predictive information in patients that already has the diagnosis of prostate cancer based in the NCCN guidelines recommendations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10-10-2024 EST 3:30PM.
