Page 2 of 2 This is not a solicitation for quotes. This is a Special Notice. The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intent of contract action to make a sole source award in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1.

**Special Notice of Contract Action:** Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract with a base year and four option years, using other than full and open competition, to SOFIE, Co. for the purchase of FDA approved Neuraceq Florbetaben F-18 Injections for the VA Healthcare Center Miami. Estimated value of this acquisition is approximately $110,000.00/year and $550,000/including base and option years.

The estimated award date is on or before October 01, 2024. Qualified sources may submit a quote (or capabilities statement) which shall be considered but shall in no way bind the agency. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing or requesting information in response to this Special Notice. Responses shall be submitted via email to Melissa.Everett@va.gov and received no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024.
