## Description

**GENERAL:** James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Research and development services, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has a requirement for 2 chiropractor tables. The chiropractor tables will be used directly for clinical patient care.

**PURPOSE:** The purchase of the chiropractors tables in for direct support of clinical chiropractor care for 2 onboarding chiropractors.

**SCOPE:** James A Haley is requesting contractors provide 2 chiropractor tables that meet or exceed the physical, functional and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the government.

**PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:** Equipment must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities: Galaxy Ultimate Table (Elevation, Hylo, and Flexion-Distraction) Standard Features Hydraulically controlled elevation Tilting (Hylo) capability Automatic, semi-automatic manual flexion distraction Electronic height selector Powered axial distraction Lateral bending One piece adjustable chest with spring breakaway Extension/Retraction of length - powered Electric height selector Deluxe/Adjustable Headpiece Chest/Pelvic separation (powered) Adjustable ankle rest - vertical & horizontal Pelvic - Flexion/Distraction (manual, semi-automatic & automatic) Pelvic - Lateral side bending Axial Extension/Retraction (powered) Ankle straps Tilt safety switch Speed adjustment for hylo feature The Galaxy Ultimate can be smoothly tilted or lowered hydraulically at infinitely adjustable speeds from horizontal to 70° controlled by foot pedals on both sides of the table.

A safety switch prevents the table from accidentally lowering from the hylo position. A foot plate automatically comes up to meet the patient's feet when table begins to lift.
