## Description

**Lakeland 004 Eye Lane Package GENERAL:** The VA s Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Lakeland, FL, located at 2080 Meadowland Park Blvd, Lakeland, FL (part of the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital Network, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL), has a requirement for the eye lane throughout the newly built Lakeland CBOC facility. These units have been proven to be reliable throughout the VA Network.

**BACKGROUND:** The current Lakeland VA CBOCs will be combining into one new facility and will expand services to better serve the local veteran community. This new facility has requirements for new Eye Lane equipment. The procurement of the items listed below and in this package is required for the activation of the new facility.

**SCOPE:** James A. Haley is requesting contractors provide brand-name or equal equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance of the salient characteristics listed in this section. The optometry eye lane equipment will be used to diagnose visual distortions and support patient care.

**FUNCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:** Equipment must provide the following functional and performance capability based on industry standards, using recommendations from Nursing Informatics experts, and endorsed by local end-users.
