## Description

**STRYKER SPY-PHI Imaging System GENERAL:** James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL, has a requirement for the Stryker SPY-PHI imaging system.

**BACKGROUND:** Currently at the James A. Haley VA, a similar device by Stryker, the SPY-Elite, is being used, however it has come to its End-of-Service life. Stryker has a new generating imaging system and Stryker no longer supports the older generation, the SPY-Elite. The procurement of the item listed below is required for the continuation of real-time visualization of tissue perfusion during surgical procedures.

**SCOPE:** James A. Haley is requesting vendor provide brand name only equipment that meets the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The SPY-PHI system will be used to allow surgeons to visualize perfusion with is a critical indicator of tissue health, provides the body to ability to heal. Impaired perfusion can cause irreversible damage.

**FUNCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:** Equipment must provide the following functional and performance capability based on industry standards, using recommendations from surgeons, and endorsed by local end-users. Additional function, performance and salient characteristics include:

**PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS / SPECIFIC NEED/SALIENT CHARACTERISTIC S:** 4K Surgical Display Stryker's 4K display is designed to provide consistently bright, crystal-clear images in 4K or 1080p resolution Maneuverable imaging head Ergonomic handheld imaging system with a flexible working distance allows for more versatility in the operating room Intuitive button mapping allows for complete control from the sterile field Connected OR Hub Allows for capturing still images and videos that can be played back in the operating room or sent directly to PACS, EHR, FTP, iPad, USB, and more if desired.

VPI with SPY-QP Fluorescence Assessment Software Real time, surgeon-controlled fluorescence assessment software Allows the surgeon to further evaluate the intensity of the fluorescence signal through relative values (%) and a color maps mode. Features a timer that is automatically activated when fluorescence is detected, and icons indicating ingress and the fluorescence assessment window.
