## Description

This is a notice of contract action (NOCA). This is not a solicitation for quotes. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the VA s intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially qualified sources and their size classifications.

Notice of contract action: Miami VA Contracting intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to University of Miami Pathology/Research Administration for referral testing services to be utilized by the Miami VA Medical Center. The estimated value of the acquisition is $187,000 for one year.

Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a capability statement, providing clear and convincing evidence supporting the assertion, and be appropriately licensed/certified. Submissions to the Contracting Officer should address the following:

Information available to the CO indicates that the University of Miami Pathology/Research Administration is solely capable of providing for the requirement due to their close proximity to the Miami VA Medical Center. Close proximity allows for timely processing and prevents morphological changes and loss of stability in testing samples. All information shall be in writing, sent via email, and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM EST, 5-21-2024.
