The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), VISN 8 Network Contracting Office, 8875 Hidden River Pkwy, Tampa FL 33637, intends to award a sole source contract to Lovell Government Services, Inc., 223 W Gregory St., Pensacola, Florida 32502. This proposed contract action is for the procurement of a service agreement on the ExacTrac X-Ray System at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH). The base period of performance is for one (1) year with only one source, Lovell Government Services a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) and an authorized distributor of BrainLab, Inc. under the authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). This contract requires factory trained field engineers directly employed by Brainlab, Inc. to perform preventive maintenance on a proprietary X-Ray System by providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to perform annual maintenance. Lovell Government Services. is the sole source service authorized provider for ExacTrac products and equipment. Lovell Government Services is the only factory authorized company, and is the only organization that has the expertise, parts inventory, and factory training to resolve ExacTrac X-Ray maintenance and technical issues. Response: Responses to this Special Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above. The purpose of this Special Notice announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described above. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort.
