Material is dictated by a variety of clinical staff and requires adaptation to variations in accents, speech, tone, voice volume, delivery, pronunciation, enunciation and may require corrections to grammar. Transcription of dictated materials includes a high incidence of technical terminology and requires knowledge of speciali7.ed vocabulary particular to a wide variety of specialty services. 1be material will include, but is not limited to: Discharge summaries, operative and procedure reports, compensation and pension examinations, consultations, progress notes, history and physical reports, imaging reports, and Pathology and Laboratory reports.
