## Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source delivery order under the authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), "Only one source can provide the required supplies and services." Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc., a large business and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Canon CT systems. This requirement will be processed against IDIQ contract SPE2D1-17-D-0022.

This procurement is for annual preventative maintenance and OEM Canon CT Imagining Systems service support located at Augusta VHA medical facility. Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is the only authorized source with OEM proprietary rights, certified parts, and trained professional required to provide preventative maintenance and service that ensures operational integrity, patient safety, and compliance with OEM specifications. A Limited Sources Justification has been prepared.

The NAICS Code of 811210-Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $34 million. A Limited Sources Justification has been prepared. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm EST on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. No telephone inquiries or emails with questions will be accepted.
