The design contract is 100% complete. Funding has expired; however, CPS services are needed as construction continues. The requirement is to provide engineering services for post award activities associated with the construction contract awarded for subject design project. The intent is to retain the A-E designer of record (DOR) for the solicitation and for the duration of the project construction contract. The construction period of performance is currently scheduled for completion no later than May 2, 2025. Required services include, but are not limited to construction submittal reviews, responses to contractor Requests for Information (RFI s), execution of potential design changes, and attendance at necessary site visits and construction related meetings in order to ensure the DOR s design is properly executed, adjusted, and interpreted in order to deliver a complete and useable facility consistent with original design intent. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and no solicitation will be issued; however, any System for Award Management (SAM) registered firm that it can meet the requirement may give a written notification to the Contracting Officer in the form of a capability statement, including an explanation how the contractor would be able to effectively and efficiently operate in the same footprint as the AE contractor at the same time. Any prospective design firm will need to possess working knowledge of all issues that may arise and will assume the liabilities associated with all aspects of the design.
