Slay, Independent Contractor, Qualitative Research,, UEI number: K8MQM878GM24 using existing VA Grant funding to understand uptake of and adherence to clinical practice guidelines for airway disease patients cared for in the Veteran Health Administration. To accomplish this aim, the qualitative research contractor is required to explore reasons for clinical practice guidelines discordance among clinicians and preferences for treatment among Veterans with airway disease using qualitative semi-structured interviews. The contract will include a base year and three (3) additional option years for a total of four (4) years running from April 1, 2025, through May 31, 2029. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) has been prepared. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 622310 (Specialty) with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition.
