The contract shall include a base year (365 days) and four additional option years to run consecutively for a total of five (5) years. The period of performance is from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2030. The Commission on Cancer (COC) is the preeminent accreditation organization for cancer treatment programs in the United States. There are more than 1,500 COC-accredited cancer programs in the United States and Puerto Rico. The Commission on Cancer organization is the only entity that provides this type of service with a focus on surgical and medical processes and best practices. The VA Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) recognizes cancer programs that demonstrate excellence by earning accreditations for all applicable standards and providing quality care to patients with cancer. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) has been prepared. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 611710, Educational Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $24M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition. Such responses MUST be received no later than March 5, 2025, at 5 PM EST.
