## Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis for market research purposes ONLY. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors that can provide Patient Remote Monitoring SmartSocks relative to NAICS 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) (size standard of $34.0 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.

After review of the responses to this source sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps or GSA eBuy websites. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this source sought announcement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 07 Contract Office, is seeking sources to provide: Patient Remote Monitoring SmartSocks for the Columbia VA Medical Center. If you are interested and can provide the required supplies, please provide the requested information as indicated below. Please view the following attachments for consideration:

**Salient Characteristics:** Socks for the patient to wear and the technology inside will issue real-time alarms to immediately notify nearby nurses that a fall-risk patient is out of bed, standing, and/or attempting to walk unassisted. Technical Contractor must provide documentation showing the ability to provide the requested items listed in accordance with specifications listed in the salient characteristics within the SOW. Contractor must include product specifications and brochure information.
