ITEM INFORMATION The purpose of this requirement is to award a Base plus 4 Option Year contract for an on-site Vascular Interventional Radiologist physician that shall cover the range of Interventional Radiology services comparable to what would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility. The standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting and/or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Radiology. The Radiologist will be required on-site for 40 hours per week during normal opening hours M-F. The contract also requires a VIR radiologist to respond 24/7/365 for Emergency Room and Inpatients when the physicians contact them. The contract includes an hourly rate for Board Certified Vascular Radiology Physician Services, On-Call Services for 365-days, and Call Back Overtime of 50 hours.
