The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR Part 13.106-1(b). A Justification for Single Source Awards has been prepared. This requirement is for a base + 4 option year Contract. The intent of this Contract is to provide annual full-service maintenance and repair services for Abiomed Impella equipment located at the Birmingham VA Medical Center 700 19th St S Birmingham, AL 35205. This full-service maintenance and repair shall include all labor, parts, supervision, and transportation necessary to maintain the Impella Equipment. The period of performance is January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, with four (4) one-year option periods. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
