The Department of Veterans Affairs, Atlanta , Georgia on behalf of the Atlanta VA Health Care System, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, Ga. intends to award a sole source procurement for the Adstiladrin Drugs. Item Description: CLIN 0001: QTY 4 each: (2 doses per patient). This requirment is a onetime brand name requirement. Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Inc is the manufacture for the Adstiladrin Drugs. Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Inc unique entity ID number D6ATBE6Y96L5. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 325412- Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 1,250 employees. Furthermore, the Contracting Officer has determined that there are no opportunities exist for competition for either Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses. The Contracting Officer has determined that ASD Specialty Healthcare, LLC, is an authorized reseller for Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Inc and there are no other providers that are authorized to resell or maintain the Adstiladrin Drugs. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1 which states that Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available ASD Specialty Healthcare, LLC, is the only exclusive reseller for this opportunity for the Atlanta VA Health Care System Pharmacy. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
