All orders must be in total compliance with the State of Georgia and/or Federal regulations regarding radioactive material. All shipping containers must be free of radioactive contamination both inside and outside. The vendor must supply with each shipment/order/delivery a system for spent (used) syringes, that meets OSHA’s Bio-Hazard Policy/Regulations. In case of emergency, the vendor will be required to make deliveries within 2.5 hours, (excluding weekends and Federal Holidays) as required by Carl Vinson VAMC Nuclear Medicine service personnel. Cold (non-radioactive) radiopharmaceutical vials shall be returned to vendor for credit or replacement if expiration date is exceeded on vial. Payment should be made monthly in arrears.
