## Description

AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION 36C24724B0012 The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Revise the solicitation to include a brand name item.

2. Response to RFI's received. Brand name item: VT Industries Palladium Collection-0555 American Walnut, 5-Ply SCL (Structural Composite Lumber) Flush Doors, fixed edge, Non-Rated/20-Min or 45-90 Min or equal. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The Government requires the brand name VT Industries for the doors to be procured under this solicitation.

This specific brand name is essential to the Government s requirements due to the need for consistency and uniformity with over half of the existing doors in the hospital. The VT Industries doors have specific aesthetic characteristics that are integral to the hospital's operations and overall patient experience. These characteristics include the door finish WV-1 INPRO, Woodland Palladium American Walnut, 555 American Walnut. RFI 1) Please confirm the VA is expecting this type of door:

**Basis of Design:** Eggers 5-Ply SCL (Structural Composite Lumber) Flush Doors, fixed edge, Non-Rated/20-Min or 45-90-Min. Laminate Door Finish to be: WV-1 INPRO, Woodland Palladium American Walnut, 555 American Walnut. Response- Yes. Note that Eggers was acquired by VT Industries in 2019.
