Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 36C24724Q0552 – On-Site Diagnostic Medical Physicist Services for Birmingham VAMC This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-05. This requirement is solicited as a 100% set-aside to Serivce Disabled Veteran Owned Small Busines s (SDVOSB).

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS: 541690 with a size standard of $19M. The FSC/PSC is H965. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7 on behalf of Birmingham VAMC (BVAMC) is seeking On-Site Diagnostic Medical Physicist Services to support the BVAMC Radiology Services Department.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel to provide on-site diagnostic medical physics support or services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), under the terms and conditions stated herein and must adhere to VHA Directive 1105.04, Fluoroscopy Safety, dated June 21, 2018,https://www.va.gov/vhapublications/ViewPublication.asp?pub_ID=7454. All work shall be performed by a qualified Diagnostic Medical Physicist (DMP).

A DMP is a person who is certified by the American Board of Radiology, American Board of Medical Physics, American Board of Health Physics, American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine, or the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine BASE YEAR:
