This project is to renovate building 8 at the Columbia VA Health Care System campus located at 6439 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC. Building 8 is large space with 30 ft. walls constructed in the 1930’s which housed the former boiler plant. It is the VA’s intent to restore the building over multiple phases. This project will be the first phase and is intended to remove hazardous materials, remove the old boilers, non-serviceable infrastructure, remove existing finishes, replace windows and doors, and to expose structure for conditional assessments.
