The kits must include Sterile drapes, Gauze pads, Surgical sponges, Sterile surgical gloves (various sizes), Eye speculum, Micro-scissors, Forceps, Scalpel, Sutures, Syringes and needles, Irrigation solutions, Antibiotic ointment and Operating room towels. This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these items are specialized and are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items will satisfy the agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an estimated effective date of December 13, 2025, to Alcon Vision, LLC located at 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76134. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If an agency believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, it may identify its interest and capability to the contract specialist by contacting Patsy Simpson via e-mail at Patsy.Simpson@va.gov.
