The annual accreditation dues/fees for the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) Inc. qualifies the Durham VA Health Care System (DVAHCS) to request Resident training stipends from the Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) which offers them (CPE) education credits and in turn provides enhanced spiritual care for our Veterans. ACPE will provide: Continued accreditation enabling DVAHCS to offer Clinical Pastoral Education to students for the period of performance. Continued consultation on meeting standards as approved by the Department of Education as part of ongoing accreditation. Ongoing consultation in the education and training of students. Consultation for certifying those who provide clinical supervision (ACPE Certified Educators) and opportunities for Certified Educators for continuing education for the Durham VAMC, located in Durham, North Carolina 27705. Period of performance will be base option year of service. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source.
