Wilmington, NC 28405. NAICS 333310 Commercial and Service Industry. The proposed service contract action is for a preventative maintenance service to the water purification systems supplying purified water to the sterile processing department at the Wilmington VA HCC, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. Contract is anticipated to be for a period of performance December 23, 2024-December 22, 2025, with four 1-year options. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotation. Interested parties may identify their interest in the requirement and capabilities to Crystal.Perry4@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM EST, December 20, 2024. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. The contractor shall furnish all replacement parts under the terms of this contract. The price of all parts used to perform scheduled maintenance shall be included in the price of this contract as listed in the schedule. The Government will not pay for any parts provided, by the contractor during the performance of this contract. Only new standard parts (manufactured by the maker of the equipment, or equal as determined by the manufacturer) shall be furnished to maintain equipment covered under the contract. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer for Ameriwater Inc. Ameriwater is the manufacturer of products for water purification, being the sole source dealer, they are the sole vendor to sell, install and provide warranty services for their equipment. The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right to enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
