## Description

**Cardiosave Extended Warranty INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:** The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to GETINGE USA SALES, LLC to acquire an extended warranty for the Cardiosave Balloon Pumps located at the Richmond VAMC. Services are to include preventative and corrective maintenance.

The estimated period of performance is expected to be a 12 month base with 4 12-month option periods starting 20 Dec 2024 through 19 Dec 2025. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.

GETINGE USA SALES, LLC (GUS LLC) has provided a letter stating that GUS LLC is the only company authorized to provide an extended warranty for the Cardiosave Balloon Pumps as these machines are considered proprietary to GUS LLC. Any company that can legally provide the above services should send a capability statement including the following:
