The proposed contract action is to provide a full-service agreement for Endoscope Equipment as listed below: Item Description Location 1 Vendor is to provide full on-site/remote support to include Total Care Connect service includes parts, labor and travel to perform both corrective and preventative maintenance needs for the equipment listed below. (12) RFID Smart Cabinets (2) Moment-of-Care WaveMark inventory management system Durham VAMC The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. Contract will be for an estimated period of performance 30 October 2024 29 October 2025. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufacture or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
