The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, RPO East , for the beneficiaries of Salem VA Health Care System Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke BLVD., Salem VA 24153, intends to award a Sole Source contract to Landauer, Inc. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative support, technical services, labor, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform all dosimetry monitoring services, emergency readings, and call support at Salem VA Health Care System Medical Center, Salem, Virginia. The base period of performance is for a base year of 10/1/2024 through 9/30/2025 and four (4) separate One (1) option year with only one source, Landauer, Inc. under the authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The Contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative support, technical services, labor, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform all dosimetry monitoring services, emergency readings, and call support at Salem VA Health Care System Medical Center, Salem, Virginia. Landauer, Inc. is the only provider of dosimeter applications utilizing the aluminum oxide OSL (Optically Stimulated Luminescence) technology. Landauer is marketing the OSL dosimetry under the trade names of Luxel® and InLight®. Landauer, Inc. is the only company to manufacture these dosimeters and provides the necessary monitoring services and call support for Salem VA Health Care System Medical Center, Salem, Virginia. **Response:** Responses to this Special Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above. The purpose of this Notice announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described above. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
