## Description

**INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:** The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Tate Engineering Systems Inc. This order will be for service and maintenance and full technical support and maintenance for three (3) Nebraska Boilers at the Central Virginia Health Care System. The Tate Engineering Systems Inc shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, lodging and supervision necessary to perform preventative maintenance.

All work shall be performed by personnel qualified to work on Nebraska Boilers equipment and shall be compliant with the latest published editions of NFPA, UL, OSHA, FDA-CDRH, Joint Commission and VA standards and shall be designed to assure that the McGuire VA Medical Center shall ensure that the performance are equal to or exceed the performance specifications.

This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within two (2) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM EST, August 1, 2024 to:
