This is a pre-solicitation notice ONLY, not an official request for quotes/proposals/bids. The official solicitation for this requirement will be published on or around 15 calendars after this pre-solicitation notice is posted to SAM.gov. The Hampton Veteran s Affairs Medical Center requires work in building 116 kitchen to connect equipment to appropriate utilities. Required utilities are defined in section one (1) The construction shall comply with all VA Master Specifications PG-18-1, and Design Manuals PG-18-10 as well as any applicable NFPA and OSHA codes and standards. 1.Scope of work: Contractor shall perform / provide labor and materials to install the following utilities to the following kitchen equipment: Convotherm Oven: Quantity 3 1.11Natural Gas 1.12Electric 1.13Domestic Water (including filtration) 1.2 Vulcan Gas Griddle 1.21Natural Gas 1.22Fire Suppression Ivario Tilt Skillet 1.31 Electric 1.32 Domestic Water (including filtration) This requirement is for the connection/ installation of utilities only, the contractor will not be providing the kitchen appliances listed above. This requirement will be solicited under the NAICS code 238210- Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The NAICS code 238210 has a Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard of $19M. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% (total) set-aside for SBA VetCert certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB)s. IAW FAR 36.204(b) the magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Potential Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
