## Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Eppendorf for PremiumCare Service Agreement for epMotion Services on epMotion 5075 for the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. The Contractor shall provide epMotion Services PremiumCare Service Agreement. The agreement will provide necessary software updates, if applicable, priority support and is inclusive of parts, labor, and travel on repairs.

Preventative Maintenance services suitable for the Eppendorf epMotion 5075 Liquid Handler instruments included. Engineer performs external and internal cleaning of the instrument. Maintenance, calibration, and software update of the instrument. Exchange of CAN bus cables, and of O-rings of dispensing tools. Perform system self-test and comprehensive functional checks. This test will ensure that all the sub-components are performing within specifications. Evaluation of stored data.

Perform service check list according to the manufacturer s specifications. Provide dated service sticker to confirm Eppendorf Service. Calibration of dispensing tools are calibrated based on ISO 8655, assuring the: Accuracy and precision of the dispensing tool. Reproducibility of the dispensed volumes. Optimization of sample yields. Contractor must have full access to the original manufacturer s software for calibration and repairs as required. Maintenance will be performed on epMotion 5075 at Durham VAMC.

Period of performance will be Base with Two Option Years. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
