The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 32543 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet this requirement may provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement may give written notification to James Risbon at James.Risbon@va.gov NLT 23 January 2024 by 3:00 PM (EST). Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Network Contracting Office 6 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Hologic Inc as noted herein. Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor, and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
