## Description

Only the products of A-DEC INC can meet the needs of the Government. The items are required to be compatible with the existing A-DEC INC dental chairs and delivery units used at the medical center. Some of these items are direct replacements, but they are the newer version, as the company is no longer selling the older version.

The part number is updated and the handpiece itself is updated, but it is still compatible with the existing connections because it is just a newer version from the manufacturer and still has the same core features. Dental handpieces are used in conjunction with the dental delivery units and dental chairs. The electric motors must be compatible with the existing connections/hookups, or they will not function and may cause issues with the facility’s equipment. The dental handpieces by A-DEC have proven to function with the facility’s supplied electric and pneumatics. This was awarded on an existing FSS contract.
