3 of 3 Network Contracting Office 6 intends to release a Solicitation for Construction Services for the replacement of approximately 10,000 linear feet of chilled water piping system in the occupied hospital Building 47 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The Project will provide for the installation of new chilled water piping. All works shall be completed in conformance with Government produced specifications and drawing. Work is composed of, but not limited to, management and performance of construction period services, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, including general construction, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, hazardous material removal, thermal and moisture protection, utility systems, finishes, scheduling, quality control, inspection/testing, environmental protection, recording (As-Built) drawings, and project closeout. A Pre-Proposal Site Visit is tentatively projected for 15 Feb 2024 at 10:00AM EDT and Potential Offerors are required to RSVP by NLT COB 12:00PM ET 2 Feb 2024 via email to keith.hunter@va.gov. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to confirm receipt of RSVP. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, tooling and materials necessary to the Pre-Proposal Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or proposal preparation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $16.5M million dollars. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 7 Feb 2024 with an approximate response date of 08 Apr 2024. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 IAW FAR 836.204.
