## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Technical support services Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide license and technical support services.  This requirement is defined primary by existing hardware/Software already in use at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. BACKGROUND a. The purpose of this requirement is to provide annual support for the Digital Menu Board System installed at VA. b. Provided ongoing network and database support and maintenance for Martinsburg VA Medical Center s Nutrition & Food Services Menu Display Boards. c. Network support consist of ongoing updates and monitoring of security and network compliance set for by the VA s Office of Information & Technology.

Epicure and Martinsburg VA OIT collaboratively built an independent server that directly allows for Martinsburg NFS food service software to flow onto Epicure Digitals platform for immediate communication updates to Veteran population, thus requiring ongoing and routine monitoring for safety and security compliance due to connectivity with VA network. d. Digital support additionally includes routine software support & troubleshooting for Martinsburg VA NFS.

Interface and menu display was created specifically for Martinsburg VA NFS and requires intermittent technology support for optimal Veteran interaction and engagement of menu display boards. e. Maintains consistency of data. Fully explains menu items and their descriptions and provides patients with a visual for their menu selections.

PLANNING The government is contemplating a Base + 4 possible Option year Firm Fixed Price contract to satisfy this requirement and meet the needs of the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.  PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Martinsburg VA Medical Center 510 Butler Ave. Martinsburg, WV 25405 TRAVEL N/A CLASSIFICATION/SECURITY Unclassified. Security clearance is not required. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY None.
