## Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source the following requirement. The Washington DC VAMC located at 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC 20422 seeks services, support, and licenses for the Thermo Fisher Scientific ION Reporter Server System, Ion Chef SVC, Ion S5 plus sequencer and 3500 Genetic Analyzers on location.

**Equipment:** EE#/SN Manufacturer Model #/Name IRLS100240 THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC ION REPORTER SERVER SYSTEM 242471206 THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC ION CHEF 2772918060062 THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC ION GENESTUDIO S5 SYSTEM 24152-021 APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS 3500XL 33126-020 APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS 3500XL The contractor shall provide 24x7 remote support, software updates, upgrades, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, technical support, training, application consulting, licenses, server patching, and remote monitoring.

Services must follow manufacturer-certified standards, safeguard patient health information, and ensure proper issue reporting. A 24/7 support hotline and VPN setup, approved by the facility ISO, must be included. The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, tools, parts, and expertise in compliance with OEM and government requirements.

**Estimated Period of Performance:** 02/01/2025-01/31/2030. This requirement will have a base year with four one-year option periods. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Information received in response to this Notice will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The Washington DC VAMC intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Life Tech UEI Number: EB8QTC6575E7
