## Description

Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice The Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation is looking for a contractor to provide locally delivered online Integrative Health curricula that is critical to reducing travel cost for Education Champions, increasing the speed of educational delivery to the field, and creates the ability to reach a far larger audience than traditional site to site trainings.

Additionally, online delivery of training allows Primary Care staff be allowed to use their CME time to work from home completing these modules to promote staff self-care, increase knowledge and skills in Integrative Health, and facilitate greater support for Whole Health from primary care staff, who traditionally have been a hard but strategically critical target audience to reach.

Objective To provide institutional licensing to its online Foundations in Integrative Health (FIH) curriculum for VHA Providers whom are approved to take the training. The training in Integrative Health will address the core Integrative Health competencies in inter-professional teams and will help develop skills needed to synergize complementary skills and address gaps in Integrative Health knowledge and skills.

The Foundations in Integrative Health curriculum has been approved for accreditation by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, hours (AMA APRA Category 1 for Physicians (31.6 hours), CNE for Nurses (31.6 hours), ACPE for Pharmacists (3.16). The online Foundations in Integrative Health curriculum includes:

**Orientation:** 1.15 hours Introduction to Interprofessional Integrative Health in Primary Care: 2.0 hours Prevention and Lifestyle Behavior Change Through Interprofessional Collaborative Practice: 3.6 hours Interprofessional Healthcare Wellbeing: 4.5 hours Addressing Primary Care Patients Through an Interprofessional/Integrative Lens: 6 hours Collaborative Interprofessional Integrative Interventions: 6.35 hours CEU Interprofessional Practice in Community Settings and Systems at Large: 6 hours Final Reflection: 2 hours 31.6 hours total (FIH supports a certificate of completion and CEUs by course) Unique Qualifications VHA s Office of Patient-Centered Care & Cultural Transformation (PCC&CT) will provide the Contractor with the information needed to enroll the VHA participants in the online FIH training.

The PCC&CT Office estimates that about 6,000 VHA participants will take the training during the 3-year life of the contract (or about 2,000 per year). Period of Performance The period of performance shall be for one base period and two 12-month option periods. Option periods are exercised as required and are not guaranteed.
