The Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contracted Beds for Urgent and Emergent Placement with supportive services is an opportunity to rapidly reduce Veteran homelessness, particularly those who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder treatment needs. The VA has a preference for contractors who demonstrate the ability to provide specialization in urgent and emergent housing of men.
