The Department of Veterans Affairs and The War Related Illness and Injury Study Center in Washington, DC (DC WRIISC) is a national post-deployment health resource for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The WRIISC develops and provides post-deployment health expertise to Veterans and their health care providers through clinical programs, education and risk communication, and research. The DC WRIISC has awarded a one-year contract to the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine for continued extensive clinical research support and dedication to advancing military medical research capabilities.
