## Description

Periodic exercise and maintenance of strategically placed equipment throughout the VA Enterprise. Both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks are to be performed to ensure that this equipment maintains a readiness rate of 95% or higher. This high state of readiness is crucial for the use by VHA assigned custodians and response personnel during natural disasters or critical infrastructure malfunctions.
