A sole source award is anticipated due to the facility’s requirement that the contracted vendor be able to perform preventative maintenance services on the LON network used across campus, as well as the proprietary nature of the Metasys Building Automation System (BAS). This requirement includes upgrades to the existing BAS, software subscriptions and updates for the Metasys BAS, preventative maintenance and inspection services of the BAS, and training. Services are to be performed at the University Drive Campus of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, PA. A firm-fixed-price contract is planned for one year, with four additional one-year option periods. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements and must include evidence of being authorized by the manufacturer of the Metasys Building Automation System to service the system in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
