The project involves expanding the existing State College CBOC parking lot located at 2581 Clyde Avenue, State College, PA 16801. The parking lot needs expanded due to expansion of services at the CBOC. Originally the parking lot contained 70 parking slots, 11 of which are handicap parking spaces.

The expansion of the parking will include an additional minimum of 27 parking spaces bringing the total number of spaces to 97. None of the new spaces will be handicap due to the spaces being furthest away from the building and will be one level, without steps.

The expansion will include demolition of existing curbing, including an approximate 13,000 SF Parking Lot addition to the existing, approximate 300 LF of curbing, additional lighting with center island, stripping of spaces and new flower planting behind the curb. Parking lot pavement to meet code requirements. Work on the project can occur at any time, as long as it does not impede clinic traffic (vehicle and pedestrian) or services.

Impacts to existing parking spots shall be minimized to the greatest extend possible during construction. If construction impedes clinic parking, traffic or services, the work shall be done on weekends or after 4:00 pm. Please see attached picture.
